Dungeness Planting a Success!

Posted on by NOSC

Sixteen volunteers came out on Saturday April 4, to plant 275 trees and shrubs, remove abundant reed canary grass, blackberry and thistle, and enjoy a fine time in the company of Wood Ducks, Sapsuckers, and Cooper’s Hawks.  It was a great pleasure for our staff to work alongside many of our students, with three from our Citizen Action Training School class and six from our Sequim High program.  It was also an inspiration to see new faces alongside our stalwart volunteers: old friends and new.  Thanks for putting the ecosystem lessons into practice!

Please join us for an upcoming event! Check our event calendar for details!
