Invasive Plant removal and potluck!
Make way for the Summer Chum! As they make their way upstream, they need to fight through rough patches of invasive aquatic plants to finally reach their spawning grounds. Saturday, August 17th NOSC and the Jefferson Land Trust are teaming together to improve salmon habitat and celebrate their return with a potluck celebration after the removal event. Come for a few hours or all 4 hours~ 9am-1pm with a potluck afterwards.

Following the event (Tuesday August 20th) is NOSC’s annual chum survey training, attend the free training and volunteer to survey Chimacum Creek. More info here.
