Salmon Coalition Featured in Puget Sound Restoration Report
North Olympic Salmon Coalition is the (only) spotlighted project in a new report covering the Puget-Sound-wide Estuary and Salmon Restoration Program (ESRP).
This program advances efforts to recover regional salmon populations by ensuring that restoration projects address essential fish habitat, such as shorelines, estuaries and bays.
The ESRP is managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), in partnership with the state Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) and the Puget Sound Partnership (PSP).
The Discovery Bay Project, which the Salmon Coalition has worked on for the past 10 years, is highlighted on page 8.
