SUMMARY:Salmon Creek Bridge Volunteer Planting
DESCRIPTION:The North Olympic Salmon Coalition is looking for volunteers to help plant native trees along Salmon Creek on Saturday\, February 2\, 2019.\nIn October\, NOSC’s WCC crew removed invasive blackberry and scotchbroom to make room for the establishment of native trees and shrubs along this lower stretch of Salmon Creek. This planting will establish a new\, healthy riparian corridor to improve the quality of salmon habitat in this reach. Please note that this site is not kid friendly\, adults only. \nTools and gloves will be provided\, but are in limited supply so feel free to bring your own. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on February 2\, and will include light refreshments and hot drinks.
