SUMMARY:4/24 Earth Day Work Party
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Earth Day with the Salmon Coalition! We’ll be holding a socially-distanced volunteer work party at Snow Creek Estuary to remove old tree protectors (aka “blue tubes”) and invasive species at a maturing NOSC planting site. Snow Creek Estuary\, combined with nearby Salmon Creek Estuary\, is a refuge for endangered Hood Canal Summer Chum. \nSnow Creek Estuary \nSaturday April 24th\, 2021 \n10 am – 1 pm \nFor the safety and wellbeing of all Salmon Coalition volunteers and staff\, we will be taking every precaution and enacting COVID-19 safety protocol which includes but is not limited to: \n\n\n\nThe event will be limited to 25 volunteers.\nDue to extremely limited capacity\, YOU MUST RSVP TO ATTEND.\nAll volunteers must sign a COVID-19 safety agreement.\nAll volunteers will undergo a brief health screening on the day of the event.\nFace coverings must be worn\, and social distancing must be maintained during the event.\nWe encourage you to bring your own gloves. If you do not have gloves\, we can give you a pair to keep.\nWhile it is not required\, we also encourage you to bring your own tools.
