Looking for Hardy Volunteers: Morse Creek Stream Surveys

Posted on by NOSC

Put on a pair of chest waders and see exactly what log jams and re-channeling does for salmon habitat. NOSC will be measuring different habitat features such as pool and riffle lengths, large woody debris and stream depths. We are looking for hardy volunteers who can spend extending time in waist-deep water. NOSC can provide waders and boots. Please bring plenty of water and a snack.  Surveys will begin sometime in September – dates still to be determined.  Email or call Jac to get involved.
