Record Breaking Coho Numbers!

Coho Surveyors

Despite many obstacles such as beaver dams, bears, fishermen, and reed canary grass, the Coho have made their journey to finally spawn. Our wonderful volunteers have counted around 100 redds and about 300 Coho last week. There is more where that came from; the Coho continue to make their way upstream to spawn as the rain continues to pour.

Some of our diehard veteran volunteers said that this is the most abundant run of Coho they have seen, and they all look really big and healthy!
