Posted on by NOSC

Join the Friends of Peabody Creek, NOSC, and Feiro Marine Life Center for our work party this Saturday, March 1st, from 10am-2pm, at Peabody Creek in Port Angeles. We have 100 Douglas fir and western hemlock to plant along the creek, and a lot more invasive ivy, holly and laurel to remove.

All tools and equipment, as well as light refreshments, will be provided. Please bring warm, waterproof clothing/footwear, lunch, and water.

Parking for the event is limited and is located at Olympic Powersports, 221 S. Peabody Street. Please consider walking, biking, or carpooling to the event.

RSVP to Larry: intern@nosc.org, 379-8051. *We’re also looking for volunteers to help load and unload tools in Port Hadlock before and after the event. A few seats are available in the NOSC truck for anyone interested in helping with set up and break down.

We hope to see you out there!
