NOW HIRING: Washington Conservation Corps Field Crew

NOSC is hiring five year long, full-time AmeriCorps  Crew Members for October 2015-September 2016.

You must be 18-25 years old to apply for these AmeriCorps positions (age restriction may be waived for recently returned military veterans).  Read the job announcement for application instructions.

Washington Conservation Crops Field Crew Position Description (hiring five people): WCC crews are teams of six (5 members and one supervisor) who work together to accomplish project assignments. Crews work outdoors every day in all types of weather (WCC provides rain gear). Projects vary by location and season, but the NOSC Crew will assist in salmon habitat restoration through planting trees, establishing in-stream structures and channels, remove invasive species, and participate in salmon recovery projects.  As a WCC member, many professional development opprotunities are embedded in these positions including two week long training camps, paid job shadowing or crew swap opportunities, potential fire dispatch, and more.
