Come learn how to be a successful Chum Surveyor with NOSC!

August 23rd from 9:00am – 12:00pm
WSU Extension Office, Madrona Rm


NOSC staff will be training volunteers on salmon biology, salmon habitat restoration and chum survey protocol. WDFW staff will also be available to answer any more technical questions.  This training is in preparation for the Thursday Spawner Surveys where volunteers walk up Chimacum Creek to count and sample spawning ESA-listed Hood Canal Summer Chum.
