Join the Wild Salmon Business Ambassadors

Be a champion for wild salmon and the communities that depend on them.

Across the North Olympic Peninsula, local businesses are stepping up to protect the natural resources that make our region such an extraordinary place to live, work, and play. As a Business Ambassador, your company becomes part of a community of local leaders investing in the health of our watersheds, the resilience of our ecosystems, and the future of our wild salmon.

Why Partner with NOSC?

Since 1990, NOSC has worked to restore and protect wild salmon habitat from the Hoko River to the Hood Canal Bridge. Healthy salmon runs mean clean water, thriving wildlife, and strong local economies. As one of Washington’s Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups, NOSC has a long history of bringing together citizens, landowners, agencies, and businesses to achieve lasting restoration and education outcomes. By joining us, your business helps:

  • Restore critical salmon habitat and clean water for our region
  • Inspire thousands of students each year through hands-on science and stewardship programs
  • Strengthen the outdoor recreation economy that benefits us all

Your support doesn’t just make a difference for salmon—it invests in the very landscapes and waterways that your employees and customers enjoy every day.

What It Means to Be an Ambassador

Business Ambassadors are recognized partners in the community who believe in giving back to the lands and waters that sustain us. Whether your business is a local shop, an outdoor outfitter, or a regional company with roots here, you can play a meaningful role in salmon recovery. As an Ambassador, your business will:

  • Be recognized on our website, social media, and community communications. We're really excited to regularly highlight businesses that are plugged in to restoring wild salmon populations!
  • Receive materials (like a window cling or desktop poster) to show your customers that you support wild salmon restoration
  • Be invited to take part in team volunteer events, community tours, and restoration activities
  • Stay connected through periodic updates and opportunities to deepen your involvement

Growing Together

Our long-term goal is to build enduring partnerships with businesses that share our commitment to salmon recovery. That commitment can take many forms, whatever makes sense for you and your business. There will be opportunities to sponsor events, underwrite education programs like Salmon in the Schools, or provide matching funds for community campaigns. Getting involved can also be as easy as contributing in-kind goods, host outreach events, or develop special promotions that benefit wild salmon. Whatever your level of support, we'll make sure the peninsula knows your business is making a difference.

Whether you’re a small business looking to give back or a larger company with a corporate social responsibility program, there’s a place for you in this work. Together, we can make sure the waters that sustain salmon—and all of us—remain healthy for generations to come. Join the movement. Become a Wild Salmon Business Ambassador today!
