Washington Conservation Corps Crew


2025-26 recruitment begins July 21st.

The Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is a program that supports young adults as they jumpstart their careers in the environmental field. 

This restoration crew serves primarily with the North Olympic Salmon Coalition doing boots on the ground restoration work during the 11-month term. Other partners may include Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, The Jefferson Land Trust, Washington State Parks, and Jefferson County Noxious Weed Control Board. The crew meets in Chimacum, Washington. This crew primarily focuses on riparian habitat improvement, and projects include noxious weed control, native plant installation, and site maintenance and monitoring. The crew may also complete trail, minor construction, and salmonid survey projects.
