Help us create the best community pie cookbook ever!

Every autumn, NOSC holds an annual meeting open to anyone and everyone who wishes to celebrate our year of work with us. It is a joyous tradition for our community members to bring a delectable assortment of homemade pies to celebrate NOSC’s achievements in salmon habitat restoration and education.
We love the camaraderie in sharing these scrumptious community creations. The hands that are down in the dirt to help salmon are the same hands that help nourish us at the turn of the seasons – and pies make a great snack! Not only are they always incredibly delicious (we’re salivating as we write this!) but they represent the community’s continuous dedication to NOSC’s mission to promote robust wild salmon stocks and provide environmental education for our local youth.
In honor of this wonderful tradition, we will be creating a special NOSC Pie Cookbook full of your recipes, photos, and stories! Join us in celebrating 30 years of NOSC by baking a pie and sharing it with us!
We will compile your pie recipes, photos, and NOSC stories into a beautiful book, ready to share and help support NOSC this upcoming fall. Submit your pies now, deadline is August 16th!
Guidelines:
1. Bake a pie (sweet, savory, your choice!)
2. Photograph yourself with the finished pie and/or the pie itself (see photo examples below)
3. Write a story or favorite memory you have of volunteering or working with NOSC (if you so choose)
