Announcing Winter Volunteer Plantings!

With the expansion of NOSC’s native plant nursery last winter, we are excited to start our planting season earlier this year! Having more space in our nursery allows us to hold enough plants to start riparian planting projects as soon as plants go dormant in the fall. Previous years, we have had to wait for large orders of bareroot plants from other nurseries that generally don’t arrive until January. We hope to see you out this winter at one or more of our volunteer plantings!

Sign up HERE – event RSVPs open 1-2 months before the event.

Every year, volunteers from our community help plants THOUSANDS of native trees and shrubs alongside local rivers and streams. These future forests will help benefit salmon and other wildlife for lifetimes to come.
