New Discovery Bay Restoration Interpretive Signs
The new interpretive signs discussing NOSC’s restoration work on Discovery Bay have been installed. The signs discussing the work on Maynard Bay and historical signs talking about the old mill and railroad can be found along the section of the Olympic Discovery Trail that runs along Discovery Bay.

Chum Surveys Wrapped Up
Summer chum surveys are officially wrapped up for this season! Our volunteers observed 1,057 live and 1,499 dead fish this season and collected 180 scale samples. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who make it possible for us to collect such vital data. Volunteers also saw several coho this week and previously observed pink salmon and a lamprey!
