The Dungeness River begins at some of the highest peaks in the Olympic Mountains (Mt. Deception - 7,788 ft. and Mt. Constance - 7,756 ft.) and flows 32 miles to the Dungeness Bay estuary. Siebert Creek watershed has been a focal point for community-based restoration and habitat protection over the last decade. Siebert Creek Conservation Area is a 38.5 acre parcel along Siebert Creek between Port Angeles and Sequim. Volunteers will plant native trees and shrubs.
