Real Learning Real Work

Real Learning Real Work teaches 7th grade students the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills necessary to envision, design, and implement their own salmon habitat restoration projects.

Salmon in the Schools

The Salmon in the Schools Program is a hands-on, exploratory learning program for elementary age students where students learn about the life cycle of salmon, stewardship, and healthy ecosystems by raising coho salmon from eggs in their classroom.

Fin the Migrating Salmon

Fin is a 2,510-pound salmon model, complete with a watershed themed mural in her belly. She is transported to festivals and schools throughout the state, and even across the country. Fin can be rented through us for your next salmon-themed gathering!

Other Classes/Programs

 We work with teachers and students to support their educational goals. Other program offerings include supporting eagle scout projects, mentoring for senior projects, restoration site tours and macroinvertebrate lessons.
