Need some fun this summer? Join the Clallam Conservation District, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, and North Olympic Salmon Coalition on Thursday, July 14th at the River’s Edge Restoration project along the Dungeness River in Sequim. Volunteers will help mulch around newly planted native trees and shrubs, and install and straighten plant protectors. The mulch will help young plants to retain moisture throughout the summer to help with their survival, and the plant protectors help to keep small rodents from damaging trees and shrubs.
