Discovery Bay Planting Party
This 10+ year project included a creek re-meander, engineered log jams, and estuarine restoration. Currently, we bring middle school students to the WDFW Wildlife Area as a part of the year-long outdoor education program, Real Learning Real Work. The Dungeness River begins at some of the highest peaks in the Olympic Mountains (Mt. Deception - 7,788 ft. and Mt. Constance - 7,756 ft.) and flows 32 miles to the Dungeness Bay estuary.
